The Jackson Group have published a new paper in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
Tony Jackson's group, working with colleagues in the Department's Crystallography and Biophysics Facilities and in the Department of Pharmacology, have published a paper in the Journal of Biological Chemistry entitled "Crystal Structure and Molecular Imaging of the Nav Channel β3 Subunit Indicates a Trimeric Assembly". They hope their discovery will lead to improvements in drugs that act on the sodium channel to treat a range of cardiac and pain conditions. For the full story see the main University news website.
