The new Scientists for EU website has been launched.

Scientists for EU began as a grassroots community on Facebook after the last general election when it became clear that there would be a referendum on EU membership. It gathered thousands of followers and media interest. This support has now been linked with other pro-EU campaigns and UK scientific leadership to form a campaign that will fight for the UK to stay in the EU.

The advisory board comprises some of the UK's top names in science leadership, including the Astronomer Royal, Lord Martin Rees, the President of the Science Council, Professor Sir Tom Blundell, and the ex-Chief Scientific Advisor to the European Commission President, Professor Dame Anne Glover. The board also has representation from the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties.
