As of 1st September 2015, Biochemistry has been hosting an Apprentice Lab Technician – Amy Bithell.
This is a structured training course in conjunction with Cambridge Regional College. She will initially be working alongside Steve Murfitt in the Sanger Building but, throughout her placement in the Department, she will spend time in a number of different groups in both buildings. It is intended that this initiative will continue in the future, providing the Department with access to a pool of well-trained laboratory assistance.
