Congratulations to Sarah Madden (Stott Group), who has been awarded a place on the extremely competitive CRUK Bridge to Academic Leadership programme!
The programme supports the next generation of cancer research leaders, guiding the 22 selected postdocs from across the UK in their transition to an independent group leader position. It helps participants to develop their leadership and grant writing skills, as well as preparing them for fellowship interviews and to lead their future teams.
Dr Madden said: ‘I am very honoured to be selected for the programme. It will provide invaluable support as I develop my independent fellowship applications to build my own research programme’.
