The University has moved into its "red" phase in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. All University staff, except those needed for business-critical activity, are now working remotely. Our facilities will therefore not be able to provide a normal service for the foreseeable future. Details of current arrangements and available services can be found here.

Use the links on the right to download a PDF sample sheet for the Sequencing Service you require.

Please note that sequencing requests from anywhere other than Biochemistry must be accompanied by a printed purchase order.

Samples and completed sequencing forms can be brought to room 2.84 in the Biochemistry Sanger Building or left in the basket provided in the reception.

If the samples are for Next-Gen sequencing please mark the package clearly for the attention of Nataliya Scott.

Last dates before Christmas

The last day we will accept samples for Sanger Sequencing before the Christmas break will be lunch time on the 23rd December.

The last day we will accept samples for Illumina or 454 library preparation before Christmas is Monday 14th December. The last day we will accept Illumina libraries for sequencing runs before Christmas is Friday 18th December (before 3 pm).

All samples arriving after these dates will be stored for processing in the New Year.
