About the Vehicle Pool
The School of Biological Sciences Vehicle Pool has been set-up to provide users within the School access to a range of vehicles to suit their needs, co-ordinated through one department (Biochemistry), with the aim of providing an efficient and effective service.
Details of vehicles available, policies and procedures and booking can be found on this site, and we hope that you find the information helpful and accessible. Comments and suggestions are welcomed and should be directed to the Fleet Manager.
Recharge rates for hire of vehicles from Vehicle Pool - with effect from 1st Jan 2010
- Usage up to 4 hours, mileage charged @ 1.05p/mile
- Usage from 4-8 hours have a standard working day rate @ £27.50/day which includes 30 miles travel; any mileage above 30 will be charged @ 75p/mile
- Usage for more than 1 working day with be charged at standard working day rate for each working day used. This will include mileage of 30 X number of working days used; any mileage above this will be charged @ 75p/mile
