Housed in the Sanger Building Tennis Court Road our photography & graphics section staff can help you with numerous photographic and illustration requirements.

Our friendly and efficient staff offer a reliable service ensuring that, with sufficient notice, your deadlines are met.

The photographic studio is well equipped to undertake a wide variety of tasks and provide you with high quality digital files.  We can also arrange to come to your location - ideal when student or staff ID photographs are required.

We have scanners that will scan 35mm negatives and slides, and originals up to A3 size in flatbed and transparency mode.

In addition to producing photographic quality digital prints up to A3 size using a Pictography printer, we offer an A0 Poster Printing service.  Our new large format printer produces images up to 2880dpi on matt or glossy paper.   If required, your posters can be encapsulated between glossy or matt film.

The Graphics and Desk Top Publishing section is capable of producing the artwork for a range of documents - from simple booklets to major publications such as The Biochemistry Brochure.

Our modern printing machines ensure a high quality result of all your printed matter, from student lecture material to training or safety manuals.

There are various options available for you to choose how your documents are finished, from simple corner stapling to folded booklets with saddle stapling or comb binding.  By supplying pre-printed colour covers, your booklets will have extra impact. Our experienced graphics section staff can assist with cover design if needed.
