Classroom Laboratory Technician (Temporary Cover)

The Department requires a technician to cover a period of about 12 weeks from mid September to the start of December 2013 to join a small team servicing undergraduate practical classes for medical and veterinary students in the teaching classrooms in the Department's Downing site building. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of reagents and equipment allocation for classes. This demands a conscientious, accurate and methodical approach and the ability to work to a deadline. The individual needs to be a team player. Previous experience of working in a practical classroom would be an advantage. You should have studied to A level/BTEC qualification or equivalent in Chemistry/Biology. Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 3 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
